EquiScire is currently a small but dedicated and hardworking team, united by a shared commitment to improving the lives of horses and other animals. While we are still at the beginning of our journey, we bring together years of practical experience, knowledge and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
Being a small organisation means that we are able to be hands-on and closely involved in the work we do. Every case matters to us, and every animal is treated as an individual, with its own needs, history and circumstances.
As EquiScire grows, our aim is to build a wider team of people who share our values and bring their own skills, experience and knowledge to the organisation. We hope to develop a strong community of staff, professionals, volunteers and supporters who can work together to make a meaningful and lasting difference.
There is a great deal we want to achieve, and we know that we cannot do it alone. EquiScire may be small today, but our ambitions are not. We are building an organisation that we hope will grow alongside the animals and people it exists to help.

Molly Grace is our founder and a veterinary nurse specialising in animal welfare, behaviour and equine nutrition. She has over 20 years of hands-on experience working with horses and wildlife, including rescue, rehabilitation and the care of animals with complex welfare needs.
Her experience combines practical, hands-on knowledge with a strong focus on evidence-based welfare and nutrition, which forms a central part of EquiScire’s approach to rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and education.
Alexander Sánchez is our co-founder and a wildlife biologist with over 15 years of experience in conservation, research and wildlife management. He specialises in marine wildlife and has extensive experience in scientific research and conservation projects, as well as developing and writing grant proposals to support conservation and animal welfare initiatives.
He also has over eight years of hands-on experience caring for equines, giving him a valuable understanding of their day-to-day care and welfare needs.

Eva Sánchez Romero is a graduate in Environmental Sciences from the University of Cádiz. She has professional experience as an environmental technician, with a particular interest in conservation and environmental education.
Her passion for nature and animals led her to establish an environmental education school for children helping young people connect with nature
At EquiScire, Eva brings together her scientific background, environmental experience and passion for animals, nature and education.
Bertie is the security guard, herd dog and assistant supervisor he takes all his assigned jobs seriously whether he has been asked to do them or not. He will work for snacks and become you shadow if you give him the slightest bit of attention.
